There are weddings that carry the scent of Sicily from the very first moment. Salvatore and Katia’s celebration at Villa Infinito Mare, in Brucoli, was one of those days when the light, the sea, and the emotions seem to come together to create something truly unique.
It was a warm and radiant early‑June day, with the Mediterranean shining like a sheet of blue glass and Mount Etna watching from a distance. A simple, elegant, and authentic story — just like them.
Infinito Mare: a modern venue suspended between sky and sea
Infinito Mare (located in Brucoli, Augusta) is a contemporary villa overlooking one of the most spectacular views in eastern Sicily. From here, your gaze flows freely from the silhouette of Mount Etna to the Santa Croce Lighthouse, passing over the Strait of Messina and the Calabrian coastline. A quiet, elegant place, bathed in light and just a few minutes from Catania, Siracusa, Noto, and Taormina.
The venue offers spacious indoor and outdoor areas, panoramic terraces, a sea‑view hall, and modern rooms where guests can stay during events. It’s the perfect location for couples who dream of a bright, minimal, and deeply Mediterranean atmosphere for their wedding.
In this article, we explore a beautiful wedding celebrated at Villa INFINITO MARE in Brucoli.

The groom’s preparations: Caribbean‑like light and a warm family atmosphere
Salvatore began his day by the pool area of Infinito Mare, where an incredible light turned everything into an almost Caribbean‑like scene. The blue of the pool blended with the clear blue of the sea, creating reflections that made every shot feel natural and vibrant.
He was surrounded by his brothers, closest friends, and parents — a cheerful, affectionate atmosphere filled with jokes, laughter, and hugs. We chose to photograph most of these moments outdoors, taking full advantage of that wonderful light that only Sicily knows how to give.

The bride’s preparations: emotion, elegance, and a sea‑view atmosphere
Katia, to avoid crossing paths with the groom, got ready in one of the villa’s modern rooms — a bright space with a private terrace overlooking the sea.
The makeup moment was sweet and intimate: the sound of the waves drifted in through the window while she looked at her dress hanging by the door. When she finally put it on, the emotion was immediate — one of those meaningful silences that speak louder than a thousand words.

The civil ceremony by the sea: vows, a gentle breeze, and heartfelt tears
Once the preparations were complete, the couple walked down to the sea‑view garden to celebrate their civil ceremony. A simple, elegant setting, with the Mediterranean just a few steps away and a gentle breeze moving the flowers and the veils.
During the readings, friends brought smiles and a few tears. A particularly beautiful moment came when a ray of sunlight lit up Katia just as she spoke her vows — it felt like a scene written by destiny.
The ceremony ended with a joyful shower of rice and the unexpected arrival of a mime on a bicycle, adding a touch of lightness and fun to the celebration.

Photos on the cliffside: Sicily in its purest form
Right after the ceremony, we walked down to the rocky coastline beneath the villa. The setting was simply perfect: sea, rocks, wind, and Mount Etna in the background, gently smoking.
Salvatore and Katia were relaxed, spontaneous, completely in sync. We wandered across the rocks laughing, improvising natural poses, letting ourselves be guided by the late‑afternoon light. It was an authentic, free‑spirited, energetic shooting — just like them.

The reception: Sicilian flavors and an elegant atmosphere
Back at the villa, guests were welcomed with a rich appetizer buffet curated by La Torre Catering. Sea aromas, traditional flavors, elegant presentations — every detail told the story of Sicily in a refined way.
Dinner took place by the pool, with tables lit by warm lights and a relaxed atmosphere. Between toasts, laughter, jokes, and spontaneous dancing, the evening flew by in an instant.

The cake cutting and the final celebration
The cake cutting took place in the cave area, right by the sea. The waves, the music, the soft lights — a romantic, cinematic moment, perfect for closing an unforgettable day.
The party continued with dancing, hugs, and pure joy — that simple, genuine joy that only a Sicilian wedding can offer.

Salvatore and Katia’s wedding was a blend of light, sea, emotions, and pure Sicily. An authentic, elegant day, lived wholeheartedly.
Infinito Mare proved to be the perfect setting to tell their story: modern, bright, suspended between sky and water. A wedding I will always carry with me.
